1990	resettled to Italy

He lives and works in Ventimiglia, Italy.
After studying at the Arts Academy of the Hague Leo Wesel was trained and inspired by two leading expressionist artists, professor Wil Bouthhoom and professor Wim Schutz. The French painter Serge Hélénon and French / Italian artist Bernhard Damiano have both influenced and stimulated the artworks of Leo Wesel.
